Hey lovely people,
One year ago, on this day I started “Wander with Sakshi”, the year long journey has been mesmerising. This beautiful journey wouldn’t have been possible without your love, I would like to thank each and every viewer, who read my posts, liked and shared them, can’t thank you enough ❤️
So finally I can say Wander with Sakshi has viewers from all the countries that once I wished to visit !
I cannot express the joy that I feel when I see a new country added to my list of viewers.
Loads of love to all my viewers. Here’s a list of countries that visit us, I am flattered ❤
2018 was quite a depressing year for me, the only thing that kept me going was traveling.
Here’s a throwback to what my 2018 looked liked, I visited many new cities, tasted different cuisines, fell in love with new faces and new places.
I started my year by visiting Kerala- God’s own country, I was spellbound and amazed by the beauty of Kerala. I spent a night under the stars in a houseboat in the backwaters. Watched Kathakali, Chinese fishing nets, danced in the tea gardens of Munnar.
After Kerala I visited Kodaikanal- The Princess of Hill Stations. My fondest memory from Kodaikanal is cycling for hours near Kodai Lake.
After Kodaikanal I visited Ooty where I had kgs of Homemade chocolates and visited different flower gardens, all those people who know me, they know how much I love flowers.
Next on my list was Coonoor which is famous for Tea Gardens and Nilgiri Moutain Railways.
This was all from South India.
Next on my list was North East India. I visted Sikkim- a place where nature smiles. Sikkim was one of the best tours of my life, I strolled on MG Marg at night, ate momos, clicked hundreds of pictures in Gangtok, felt patriotic at Nathula Pass, rode a Yak near Changu Lake, visited a Wish full filling lake in Pelling, prayed at Char Dham Temple in Namchi, tried to find my way through the fog in Buddha’s Park in Ravangla. Due to monsoon there was surprise showers at any time of the day followed by dense fog, but all of it made Sikkim even more fun.
Sikkim is not only a beautiful state but has people with a beautiful heart, I was lucky to meet one such amazing soul- Yudha uncle, he was my driver in Sikkim, without him my entire trip wouldn’t have felt so safe and nice.
Next on my list was Mumbai- the city of dreams. Though I have visited Mumbai several times but every visit there is unique.
Last trip of 2018 was my visit to Varanasi – the oldest city of India. I went for temple hopping and had some delicious food.
Though I visited so many new cities but I still believe that nothing beats the zeal and beauty of Calcutta during Durga Puja.
Traveling and “Wander with Sakshi” made my 2018 a wonderful and memorable year. I hope all my coming years continue to be filled with travel and new experiences, hoping that my blog will continue to grow. Thank you for loving us. Keep loving us. ❤️
So here’s something interesting for you. All those people who think I am really pretty and I look great in my pictures, you have absolutely no idea how much efforts it takes to get a good picture clicked. I am just an ordinary girl who doesn’t know how to pose in front of the camera.
